Here we are fronted by our MD Les Shankland, in St. Mary’s Cathedral where we hold our concerts, while our rehearsals take place in the adjacent Song School dominated by the fine murals painted by Phoebe Traquair.
Bach St Matthew's Passion - Kirkwall, Orkney
We performed Bach’s St. Matthew Passion in St Magnus’ Cathedral in Kirkwall in March 2006, together with the Mayfield Singers of Orkney. It was wonderful to sing in this ancient church and these images perfectly capture the atmosphere of the occasion and the warmth of the pink stone in the cathedral. You can read more here.
